Bananas - Alex Kontos Fruit Co. has been ripening bananas for over 120 years. Today, all of our banana ripening is done in state-of- the art pressurized ripening rooms. We have the capacity to ripen 14 loads of bananas at one time and carry several major brands. Kontos also offers several different packs sizes for both foodservice and retail needs. We pride ourselves on knowledge through experience in the art of processing bananas.
